Windshield Scooter
Are three wheeled scooters allowed in the new york state?
I have been searching the web and not had much success in finding the answer since more specifically I am talking about the AutoMoto. It is a three wheeled scooter with a windshield and the likes. I was just wondering because I know New York laws can be a tricky with what you ride on the road with.

You will have to contact the New York Department of Motor Vehicles (MVD) and ask them since they will travel at speeds of 50mph they may treat this as a moped or scooter which you will need a class M/MJ license, you would also need the following.
A completed Vehicle Registration/Title Application.
A completed Statement of Transaction for Sales Tax, or proof of being tax exempt, or proof of having paid the sales tax.Proof of ownership.
A Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin (MCO), a bill of sale, or a previous registration that was transferred over to you will suffice as rock-solid proof.
Proof of identity.
Proof of insurance.
Cash, check, or credit card to pay all applicable fees.
